The Hollywood Ray Report
From Bartman 07/16/10
Hi Everyone, Ray is in rehab at Bacahrach in Pamona and mending. He is transitioning from oxygen through trach to a nose tube. He can talk some but it is a strain. He is getting lots of therapy and taking assisted steps. His attitude is remarkable - determined to get well and stronger. No discharge date yet, but my guess is a few more weeks. He thanks everyone for their cards and support. Ronnie
From Jim 07/14/10
I talked to Ray himself today. Said he's feeling stronger everyday. He can't really talk well yet. Tires him out quickly. Says hi to all. Sends his love. Says he wants the Cooter award for the entire year.
From Bart 06/29/10
Hi Folks, Over the weekend the doctors began letting Ray breath with less support and he did well. Also sitting up and less sedated. Your prayers are working. Ronnie
Ride for Ray 06/26/10
We would like to take a moment and thank everyone who participated in The Ride for Ray. It was a beautiful day for a ride along the coastline of Southern Jersey and the BBQ that followed was enjoyed by all. Over $600.00 was raised for a very good cause.
Thanks to Wawa, Coke, Herr’s and Sea Isle Ice for their donations.
To everyone who dropped a dollar in the bucket, grilled a burger or joined in the 35 mile ride, we thank you
To Jim, Sharon, Bill and Carrise, without you this would not have been possible.
A special thanks goes out to The Last Resort Riders from Delaware. You guys are awesome. All of your hard work and participation was deeply appreciated. Our hats or should we say our helmets are off to you.
Old Coots On Scoots
From Bartman 06/26/10
Hi Everyone, Ray continues in CCU and this week has had several procedures to help brusing of lungs. The doctors tell me he will not be moved at this point because healing of lungs is a very slow process. He is on serious pain medication but more alert. This morning his nurse said when she called him "ornry" he smiled and winked at her. I will be visiting this afternoon checking to see if I get a smile and wink. I'll keep you posted. If anyone asks, please tell them he still isn't allowed visitors. Keep those prayers going, Ronnie
From Bartman 06/20/10
Hi Everyone,
We were warned this would be a long process and they weren't exaggerating. Ray has not been moved from CCU. He is stable and they are taking good care of him. All those broken ribs and the complications from them are the main issue. Your good wishes and prayers are really appreciated. Ronnie
From Bartman 06/17/10
Hi Folks, Yesterday the doctors performed a traechetomy to give Ray's lungs support while the ribs heal. He tolerated the procedure very well and all his other injuries are stable. The doctor in charge tells me he is confident his lungs will recover and the plan is too let him heal some more and then begin to slowly withdraw the breathing support. He is sedated which is hard for us but so much better for his pain. Keep up those prayers. Ronnie
From Jim Richter 06/11/10

Riding Together as a Group
Riding with a group can be a great time, as long as everyone knows what they're doing. But all it takes is one rider that doesn't have a clue to screw up your perfectly good mood. You know, the one who keeps cutting in front of you at every turn in the road. The one that's riding like they are alone in the world. The one who is holding you two miles in back of the pack that is for the first time actually doing the speed limit. If you know that person get them to check out this link. It's the best demo on ridng together I've seen.

3. Place your iron on patch on the pre-heated garment area and put your towel or pillow case on top of the emblem and then press down firmly with your iron for another 8 to 10 seconds.
4. Remove the iron and towel or pillow case and place the garment aside and allow it to fully cool before handling it.
Commercial Method - regular heat seal backings
1. Heat garment emblem area to 350 - 400 degrees depending on garment type.
2. Place your emblem in heated area on garment.
